Beat Lippert

Beat Lippert was born in Lausanne (CH) in 1977. From 2003 to 2007 he studied visual arts at the Haute Ecole d’Art et de Design (HEAD) in Geneva. He has been awarded by the Mobilière Young Art Prize, Swiss Art Awards (Basel 07), and received the Berthoud Funds Grant in 2008. His artwork has been exposed at the Kunstmuseum, Zurich, La Galerie and the Centre d’art contemporain de Noisy-le-Sec, Paris. In 2009, the Laleh June Gallery in Basel dedicated a personal exhibit to his work.

Siamo Tutti Beati

The event Siamo Tutti Beati is a workshop which invites the local inhabitants to participate in it. The strategy of this event, which is also a constraint, is the harvest of materials low-cost. The meeting and the dialogue between the organizers the participants and the local Inhabitants is necessary to collect these materials which will compose installations. The meetings, the transport, the installations, the researches led on the spot as well as all the cultural context of the workshop is constantly filmed by these own actors, to succeed then as a movie and\or video installation.
